Suggesting both players have no future at the club.
The official line is Ranger – who spent the latter part of last season on loan at Sheffield Wednesday – has an "unspecified injury".
Probably something to do with his brain, as he faces ANOTHER two court appearances later in the year.
Xisco – who has played all of his football in Spain over the past three years – will never play for Newcastle again, as long as Alan Pardew is manager.
The 26-year-old was signed by Dennis Wise four years ago and the former Spain Under-21 international has featured just nine times for United since his £5.7m move from Deportivo La Coruna.
But Xisco still has a year left on his contract and Newcastle seem to be stuck with him.
Ideally, Newcastle would have sold him three years ago but no Spanish club will pay his £50,000 per week salary.
So he sorts out a loan deal to play in his native Spain, and STILL gets £50k a week, mostly being paid by Newcastle.
