"This is the first time the club has been challenging for a Champions League place (whilst he has been at St James)and it's getting closer all the time," said Nobby today.
"We're already starting to think about the Fulham game next Monday and by then we'll know where Chelsea and Leeds are.
"But we're in a stronger position than both of those teams and three points against Fulham would only increase the pressure on them.
"From now on, we have to pick up maximum points if we're to be certain of seeing off Chelsea and Leeds but I can't see the title coming to St James' Park.
"Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United look too strong."
