The midfielder has been 'Mr Newcastle' in our push for promotion, and has rightly been named the PFA Fans' Championship Player of the Month for October.
The 29-year-old has been in outstanding goalscoring form for the Magpies since the start of the season and is currently the club's leading scorer with eight.
Nolan, who arrived at St James' Park for a fee of £4 million last January, scored a brilliant 25-yard winner against Doncaster that dug us out of a hole.
He is the goalscoring midfielder we have been lacking, with the 'shooting boots' we expected (but so far) have never seen from high-profile Jonas Gutiérrez..
Nolan: "No disrespect to Bolton, but it was just the fact that I was carrying a lot of knocks. I had problems with my ankle and problems with my ribs and in the end it takes its toll.
"I could never do a proper week's training and someone like me needs be training day in, day out, and that's something I have managed to do since I came back for pre-season."
