"To be quite honest I'm not one of those players who dwells on what they did right - I wouldn't even think I've had a good game.

"Middlesbrough found it tough to get out of their half. I know they had that chance, but apart from that I can't really remember them being in our half.
"They had a spell in the second half, but in the Premier League you know they're going to have spells.
"It was just up to us to try and ride it out, and hope that when we got a chance, we put it away.
"Oba came on and scored a great goal after MO (Michael Owen) did an absolutely fantastic job.
"He was unlucky on a few occasions.
"It lifted us as players, and it was a sucker punch for them."
