Nolan has lifted the honour for the second month in succession.
Kevin Nolan: "On a personal note, hopefully the awards will keep coming and if that happens, it will mean I am probably scoring goals and the team is winning matches.
"If I can keep popping up with goals here and there, and match-winning ones are more pleasing, then great. But I would rather win every game between now and the end of the season and not score at all.
"It is nice when you score a goal and we win, and hopefully I can continue to do that but, if not, if we keep winning - that is the main thing.
"With the quality we have in the side we know we are going to get opportunities. West Brom are doing well and scoring goals but we have to keep going and plugging away.
"Hopefully we will start to open that gap away from the rest. I think there'll be a few teams up there, don't get me wrong, but it's up to us and West Brom to try and make a push to get away from them."
