The Canaries have named Bryan Gunn as their new manager until the end of the season.
Roeder was sacked following the club's slump to fourth from bottom in the Coca-Cola Championship table and their defeat to Charlton in the FA Cup.
Former goalkeeper Gunn was placed in temporary charge and guided the Canaries to a thumping 4-0 win over Barnsley on Saturday.
Gunn made 477 appearances for the Canaries after joining from Aberdeen in 1986 and had been involved under Roeder in the role of head of player recruitment.
