Newcastle are heavily odds-on for relegation after defeat at Norwich putting them at SEVEN-TO-ONE-ONE!
Our only thoughts when the fixtures come out in June is to look for the Mackems ... and even when we DO go down ... let's pray we keep our derby.
At least we would have something to hang on to.
Newcastle are 1/7 with Sky Bet to be relegated this season after that 3-2 defeat at Norwich plunged them closer to the drop.
Norwich are now four points outside the drop zone, although both Newcastle (six points back) and 18th-placed Sunderland have a game in hand.
Sunderland could only draw 0-0 at home to West Brom and subsequently saw their relegation odds cut into 2/7. Norwich are 13/8 to go down.
It was also a good day for Crystal Palace. They have still not won since December but a 2-2 draw at West Ham took them closer to securing their top-flight status. They are now seven points above the relegation line and out to 16/1 for the drop.
At the other end of the table, Leicester ended the day 8/15 for the title after rivals Spurs were held to a 1-1 draw away to Liverpool.
Spurs were pushed out to 7/2, with Arsenal into 9/2 after they crushed Watford 4-0.
