Owen Won't Lose Sleep Over Relegation Worries!
"That might sound stupid because we are three points nearer the relegation zone. But I am much more positive after this game than after the last couple of matches because we were conceding left, right and centre and not creating. But today we created a load of chances and I missed the majority of them.
"I am used to handling pressure having played at the top level for quite a while. The missed chances were nothing to do with any pressure.
"Brad Friedel made a couple of very good saves. If in a future game I got some of the chances I had on Saturday I would do the same again.
"I won't go to sleep tonight wondering if I should I have done this or that. That is the way I am. Some days you're the hero, some days the villain. That's what happens when you're a striker.
"We played well and it's very disappointing to lose the game," he said. "After the last couple of games - against Villa and United - we've walked off and not really had any positives to take out of it.
"But today we gave ourselves something to build on. If we keep playing like that, we will definitely pick up more points than required.
"It's a tough fixture but there are games against teams in and around us after that which are going to be even bigger."
