Palermo coach Francesco Guidolin agrees with Glenn Roeder that they have the toughest group in the UEFA Cup draw. The Palermo tactician turned 51 on Tuesday didn't see it as a good birthday present. He also doesn't share the thoughts of his club president, who said before Palermo's clash with West Ham: "this competition is for losers, I hope we get knocked out".
Francesco Guidolin: "I was expecting a better birthday present but instead we haven't had luck, not even on this occasion.
"We couldn't have asked for a worse group. Once again we are paired with three teams from important football nations and a Turkish team that are used to playing in international competition, having played many times in the Champions League. It's going to be hard."
Eintracht Frankfurt coach Friedhelm Funkel: "That really is an incredibly good group. We are really looking forward to these wonderful games and can certainly learn a lot from them. We will set out to upset one or two of the big clubs."
