Milburn, along with Bobby 'Dazzler' and Bobby Cowell, won three FA Cup winners medals in five seasons with Newcastle United.
Three legends who made their names with FA Cup glory.
How many of today's Newcastle players will do the same? How many will lift a trophy wearing black and white stripes?
I will promise you one thing - it won't happen under Alan Pardew!
The man is a born loser - he has never seen any of his teams win a trophy, and he never will.
He showed his disrespect for the FA Cup prior to the game, blaming the FA and Premier League for "holding the third round games after Christmas", something that has not been a problem to club managers for 130 years.
But ... Pardew knows different!
Pardew and his players were left facing an angry reception from the home fans among a crowd of 31,166 after slipping out of the competition at the first attempt for the third time in four seasons under his charge.
Asked how disappointing that was, Pardew said: "It is and I am bemused because I think we had a more than strong enough team to win that game.
"I felt they were in good shape, had good control of the game and really and truly, the last period just got away from us, and we can't afford that to happen.
"We want to win a trophy here, they (the fans) are desperate for a trophy. It's been a long, long time and we are not going to win a trophy going out in the third round."
He chopped and changed his side, and for the FOURTH season running he blamed injuries to key players ... who will make a miraculous recovery for the next game.
Pardew told us back in August his ambition for this season was 10th position in the league.
And, without distractions in Europe, the League Cup and the FA Cup ... he might just do it.
Ambition? MY ARSE!
The fans want better ... they deserve better!
