That is the claim of Jason Burt of the Daily Telegraph.
“I’m a big fan of Alan Pardew,” explains Jason. “He possibly lost his way a bit after West Ham.
"But I think he’s one of the best English coaches around – maybe in a year or two we’ll be talking about him as an England manager for the future.”
Considering Pardew is one of only four of the twenty Premiership managers who is ENGLISH ... it is hardly surprising his name will get a mention.
The others are Harry Redknapp, Steve Bruce and Roy Hodgson.
