Alan Pardew: “There are one or two players who do need to go out on loan and get some experience, and one or two players who perhaps need to move on as well, and that might happen before (the closure of) the window.
“We are very, very closely watching the markets just to see who is available.
“There have been some strikers move this week that, for me, look over-valued massively – that might be inflating the market, and we won’t process any deal if we think we are in inflated prices.
“I think the history of our club tells you that. But if there’s a deal that comes our way we think is right in any position, then we would look at it.”
