Alan Pardew: “I have been in runs with other teams, including ones I have played in, when you feel as if you can’t score and there isn’t a goal in the team.
“You can’t say that about us.
"We are just missing a bit of concentration and some resilience.
“I was really pleased with the second-half right up until their third. They had a few chances at the end when we were chasing the game and that flattered them a bit.
“It is very difficult for me to say we’ve only taken three points from our last four games.
"You can see there is not a lot wrong. But we don’t have a points total that rewards the hard work we have put in."
