The Magpies are hoping to avoid a seventh defeat on the spin in a run that would extend the worst Premier League cold streak ever recorded.
But Pardew still has a large chunk of his "eight and a half year contract" still to run ... and he WON'T go until he gets a pay-off.
Depending which newspaper you believe, Pardew is said to pick up £3m a year, and a seven year pay off would total what Newcastle picked up for Yohan Cabaye!
But rumours from Newcastle suggest Pardew would settle for a £10m pay off.
Alan Pardew: “No, I won’t walk away.
“I love this job and I am going too fight as long as I can for it.
“That’s what I have always done.
“I have been in tricky situations before.
“This is a situation where I perhaps need to dig deep, and I have got no problem in doing that.
“I will dig deep on Saturday and make sure I make the right decisions to get us a win.
“I have made it very clear that I am the manager at this football club and let’s make sure that we make the right decisions on Saturday.”
