Alan Pardew: "Twitter is dangerous. You can say things when you're emotional, when it's probably not the best time to express your feelings.
"I'm all for people expressing themselves - they just have to be very careful."
Wolves boss Mick McCarthy is cracking down on Twitter and has warned his players they will be fined if they disclose team secrets.
McCarthy: "Some twit tweeted Steve Sidwell was at the Chelsea game and it became common knowledge.
"He was having a fitness test the next day and his agent gets a call from Mark Hughes and he signs for Fulham.
"Players are going to get themselves into trouble over Twitter. I can't ban it but they have to be careful what they say.
"If they put a team selection up, which I'm sure some disgruntled numpty will do, they will be in trouble."
