Alan Pardew: "There is a big part of me that wants them to stay up for their integrity and the honesty of their work.
"They gave us a really good test and I thought they were better than they were against Wigan last week.
"Their intensity was higher and if they can take it into their last four games, against anybody, they will give them a game.
"We have got 41 points and the results have gone our way. I think that is us guaranteed now.
"I think it will be difficult for those teams down at the bottom to accumulate 41 points.
"But we want to win as many games as we can and will try to do that.
"Perhaps we can play with a bit more freedom at Liverpool next week and our energy levels will be up."
