Back in May the Magpies beat Chelsea 2-0 at Stamford Bridge to cement fifth place in the Premier League.
Alan Pardew: “I had never won at Chelsea and it's such a difficult place to win so that will go down as one of the great victories.
“This team are a little bit stronger this year though.
“We are looking at it for an opportunity for us to build on what has been a good opening few days. There is a really great spirit in the camp. We’re only two games in but so far, so good.
“Chelsea seem like a happy ship now, but it will be interesting to see how they cope with us. We are a tough call for them.”
"Cisse is a player we all love, he’s a finisher but we have to create chances for him. There were a couple of great passes to create the goals last time. If you feed him he will score.
“They were sensational goals he pops up in training now and then with different kinds of goals. He scored one the other day, one which makes you do a double take. He just has that in him. He wants to score so he takes an unusual shot. And that’s why he gets those kind of goals.”
