Parker Bound For West Ham

The ex-Chelsea midfielder has hardly settled on Tyneside, and he knows full well the Toon Army have not taken him to their hearts.
And with Allardyce setting his sights on Manchester City's Joey Barton, Parker is the obvious one to make way.

Parker has been a transfer target for Alan Curbishley and West Ham since January. At the time any possible move fell through due to West Ham's relegation fight, but it now seems a reunion with Parker's former Charlton manager could be on the cards.

If Curbishley was to swoop for his former Charlton captain Allardyce would be prepared to let him go for £8million, or include Anton Ferdinand in a deal.

West Ham offered Nigel Reo-Coker in a swap deal, and the England Under-21 internional is certainly on his way having expressed his desire to leave the club. But Reo-Coker is not the sort of player to impress Allardyce, because he goes missing too often when the going gets tough.
