Parker Predicts Tough Game

Glenn Roeder still believes qualification for the UEFA Cup is within our grasp, be we have to believe in something. Obviously he still looks at the Premiership table ... most of us try not to!

Six points more than fourth from bottom Sheffield United ... a staggering 38 points off top placed Manchester United!

Now THAT is what makes a trip to the Valley tough.

Scott Parker: "It will be a tough game tomorrow at The Valley and it is probably going to be a tough run-in between now and the end of the season. Obviously we need to be professional and we need to try to get back up the League and put things right.

"On a personal note, going back to Charlton will be a day of mixed emotions for me. Right now though, we are going into it after a bad result in Europe. We need to bounce back and try to win the game.

"Last year was difficult and this year will be a difficult game for us too. They will be going into it firing on all cylinders and we have to approach it in the same way."
