Many supporters felt the game could have been called off at half-time but, Portsmouth skipper Linvoy Primus had no complaints about the game going ahead despite the conditions underfoot.
Primus: "We are disappointed. We thought it was a good opportunity for us to move forward in the cup.
"We have not really had a good run in this cup for a few seasons, so it was a chance for us and we have not taken that chance.
"You could say it could have been called off, but we have played in worse than that and the thing is it is going to be the same for both teams.
"Whoever copes with it better possibly wins the game, but I do not think there were too many problems."
