John Carver: “In my opinion there was only one team trying to win the game.
“They had a couple of chances in a five-minute spell.
“Other than that we were the team on the front foot.
“We saw the result they got at Sunderland last week.
“This week it was the same, we knew it would be difficult for us.
“And we knew our fans would be patient. We created some good chances – but I am delighted for the guy who got the winning goal.
“It was a great result for us and I am delighted because you can’t come and park the bus like that.”
