Rafa Benitez will confront a difficult decision over striker Aleksandar Mitrovic before Newcastle United's Championship game at Burton Albion on Saturday.
And the Newcastle manager accepts the Serbian international will also provide him with another dilemma during the January transfer window.
The short-term problem for Benitez is whether to recall Mitrovic, who has not started any of United's last four games.
The Newcastle boss admitted:"The most difficult thing is to decide who will be in the squad and the team. I have to make these decisions because Daryl Murphy is also doing really well. He is very professional and a good finisher.
"Leaving him and Mitrovic out of the squad and the team is not easy. Dwight Gayle, the top scorer in the league, is also doing well and we have other strikers who could be playing.
"We have to keep them training well and coaching them properly. Even when they are not playing, you have to try your best for them, too. It's what I try to do.
"Mitrovic would like to play, but he is training well and is quite happy."
