Newcastle United boss Rafael Benitez has refused to give much away regarding his future at his latest press conference, which was covered by the Chronicle.
Benitez has now been at Newcastle for a year, and his popularity on Tyneside has never been higher.
The Spanish boss appears to be well on his way to completing his objective of guiding Newcastle back into the Premier League.
The Magpies are currently at the top of the Championship table, and only a collapse in their final 10 games would see them drop out of the top two.
However, there has still been speculation over whether Benitez will stay with Newcastle recently.
And when asked whether he would still be at St. James’ Park in a year’s time, Benitez said: “I will be here tomorrow trying to win against Fulham and then after, we will see.”
Newcastle head into their game against Fulham on an unbeaten run which stretches for 11 league matches.
If the Magpies can pick up the victory, they could put 12 points between themselves and third placed Huddersfield Town.
