According to The Chronicle, Feyenoord have told Newcastle United that Nicolai Jorgensen will cost £21.9 million.
The Premier League side was heavily linked with Jorgensen in January but Feyenoord’s asking price of €23 million proved too much.
Magpies boss Rafa Benitez reportedly has £50 million to spend this summer and a new striker is a priority. Jorgensen is once again on their shortlist but Feyenoord have told Newcastle that the Dane will now cost £21.9 million.
Jorgensen, who is currently with the Danish national team at the World Cup, has a contract in Rotterdam until 2021.
