Ramage "Rested"
Roeder: "We really had no options but to play the four we did in Stephen Carr, Jean Alain Boumsong, Craig Moore and young Rammy. It was only by reshuffling the pack yet again and asking Peter to go in at left-back that we got by.
"The lad has never complained to me once when I have asked him to switch positions yet again and I have to say that he has been a real dream to work with. He is a young player any coach would be happy to work with as he looks you straight in the eye when you are talking to him. I think it is fair to say he has exceeded all expectations, but he is still on a learning curve and that curve will get harder.
"But he will learn from his recent experiences and now he needs to show all the resilience he can find to turn himself into a very good player.
"While it's not impossible for us to have Titus back on Saturday, I have to say that he is still very doubtful. And it's no good risking him on Saturday if he is just going to break down again."
