Robson Tells Gazza 'You Must Help Yourself'!
Robson: "I was almost in the hospital to see him when he sort of changed his mind. I think he was a bit embarrassed, he didn't want to see me, but he said 'when I get out I'll come and see you'.
"So I was not able to go and see him.
"He's a wonderful kid, he was a terrific player. I loved him. We've all loved him, we all have emotional ties with Gazza.
"In 1990 he was arguably the best young player in the world. I've got a lot of feeling for him.
"He's not very well but he's in the best possible place in view of what he's got.
"He's got to help himself, I think everyone's telling him that. Whether he can do that or not I don't know but we've got to do something for him."
