The 27-year-old Czech Republic international endured mixed fortunes as the Magpies finally ended their wait for a league win at the seventh attempt against Birmingham on Saturday.
Rozehnal Pleased Mates Pulled Him Out Of A Hole!
It was Rozehnal's error which gifted City their opening goal with just nine minutes gone when he allowed Cameron Jerome to slip behind him to collect Rafael Schmitz's hopeful pass and round Shay Given with just nine minutes gone.
But he wants to thank his team-mates for recovering from his gaff, to win 2-1.
Rozehnal: "It will be much better for us because we have shown that we can play football like we did at the start of the season.
"We are really strong, our team spirit is really, really strong, and we can take three points at home or away if we play like we did in the last three games with a fighting spirit.
"We have to play as a team and then we will be okay.
"It was really important because we really needed those three points against a team which is below us at home.
"We played the same game we did against Arsenal - of course, we were a little bit more tired, but we played with the same fighting spirit.
"We have taken four points - it would have been better to take six, but the first game was against the best team in the Premier League.
"Hopefully we will continue like Saturday because we took three important points at home.
"We played for ourselves, but also for the supporters who came today and supported us, and that was also important."
