The former Newcastle skipper has entered the waxwork hall of fame in Blackpool .
Alan Shearer: “I think they’ve done such a great job it’s scary.
“It’s weird looking at yourself and thinking how incredibly alike it is.
“The figure is so realistic and accurate, the sculpting team have done an amazing job and I hope the public like it too.”
The figure took four months to make and will be on display in the “locker room” area at the attraction alongside waxwork doubles of fellow football favourites David Beckham, Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard.
