Rennie started getting 'on our tits' when (first game of the season) he sent off Alan Shearer at St James' Park when he was elbowed in the face by an Aston Villa defender.
52,000 saw the incident, and when Rennie pulled out the red card the Villa defender started to walk off the pitch.
But to our amazement, he pointed at Shearer - chalked down "number nine" in his little book of "famous internationals I've sent off" ... and explained how he saw Shearer head-butt the defenders elbow.
The first of a list of "Twilight Zone" incidents between Newcastle United and Rennie over his career.
So what's he up to now? Well I'll tell yer.
He has been injured for a couple of years now, and only managed one game last season (Bristol City v Derby Co) ... but still picked up his £57,000 match officials yearly pay cheque.
Having got away with it, you'd expect him to retire, as he is 50. But Uriah? ... oh no!
He has decided to go for the £57,000 'wedge' once again, even though he is having surgery on August 31st and will not be fit to return until the back end of the season.
Yes ... that's the Uriah we know.
