Speaking on Match of the Day this weekend, he said: "No clean sheets in 17 games and the lowest points total this year across all the divisions, they are in trouble.
"It is such a massive game for them at Swansea."
Palace make the trip to south Wales on Saturday to take on bottom side Swansea City, who are without a home win all season and have collected just six points from the opening 12 games.
