Shearer: 'What Do We Want On Monday?'
"You have got to believe a chance will come your way - and you have got to believe when a chance does come your way, you will take that.
"You much prefer it when you are on a goalscoring run than not, but not everything is going to be perfect every single day.
"But Michael is experienced enough to handle that.
"When you are a centre-forward and you haven't scored goals, then you are going to be criticised.
"I know that, he knows that - he's had it before, he will have it again. He can handle that.
"But I will ask you a question - what do we want on Monday?
"Goals! And who is the best goalscorer? There you go then.
"He's fine. He has been in this situation before.
"People have asked questions of him - people will always ask questions of a goalscorer when you go on a small barren spell.
"But it's up to ourselves to try to create chances, and we know if we do create chances, Michael will be there and Michael will score goals."
