The Nigerian international joined Wanderers on a short-term deal after enjoying a positive trial at the club.
He was named on the bench for Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Leeds United but was in the action after only 12 minutes, when he replaced Gary Madine.
By the 32nd minute he was on the scoresheet, and Bolton took a point despite being reduced to 10 men, as Mirco Antenucci levelled for the visitors in the second half.
“Playing with 10 men changes a game and it affects the ascendancy of the game,” he told bwfc.co.uk. “When you lose a man, you have to switch your mentality and stick together as a team.
“I feel that we did that very well. It’s easy to fold in these kinds of situations, but we didn’t and that will stand us in good stead.”
