Should Barnwell Keep His Nose Out Of Toon Affairs?

But League Managers' Association chief executive John Barnwell has spoken out about the pressure on Sam Allardyce at St James's Park.

Obviously Barnwell is backing ALL managers to keep their positions, which after all, is his his job.

But shouldn't every club have the right to dismiss their manager, should they feel the need to do so? It happens in every job. What makes a football manager any different?

John Barnwell: "To talk about Sam Allardyce being under pressure is ludicrous.

"Every manager is under pressure to win games but being under pressure to win games is different from being under pressure to keep your job.

"We live in a world of immediacy. Things have to be instant. Everybody wants things immediately in football. They want results yesterday.

"I just find anything even remotely suggesting Sam Allardyce could lose his job bordering on the insane, absolutely insane.

"His chairman should not have to come out and back him."

Barnwell is entitled to his opinion, which he has given. But what about YOU? Do you think he is right?
