Matt Ritchie has made it clear that Newcastle United players MUST take responsibility for the club’s perilous situation in the Premier League.
But what is getting very BORING is the post-match "We will take positives from this."
Every single game ... every defeat ... every draw ... the same BORING RUBBISH!
But, the fact is ... they are NOT taking positives!
The Magpies will spend the international break in the bottom three of the top-flight table for the second month worryingly, and they have just 30 games to yield another 38 points to ensure survival.
Newcastle stormed into a 2-0 lead at Old Trafford before crumbling and continuing their woeful record at this venue.
Ritchie said: “Us as players are the only people who can get us out of this.
“We showed today that we have got some threat, certainly in the first half.
“We gave ourselves a chance and we’re disappointed not to have carried the performance out for 90 minutes.
“We did really well in the first half and could have scored one or two more and there are some positives we need to take from that.
“When they brought [Marouane] Fellaini on, it made it hard to put pressure on the ball, we were pegged in and couldn’t get out.”
