Some careless comments from the manager after the 1-0 victory over Leeds led to a storm of speculation about the winger’s future, but common sense has prevailed.
"We have never, ever this season put up a player for transfer so basically that means that there is no-one available," Sir Bobby told the club's official website.
"I can't even remember the question I was asked that set the speculation off, but I do know that I never proposed the name of Nobby Solano, I just said that Nobby Solano is not for sale.
"I did say, like any other manager in the Premier League would, that if we got an offer for any player - not just Nobby Solano - we would listen to it, it's as simple as that.
"Speculation has developed and grown since then, but only through the media and not through the football club.
"Whether it has been taken out of context or not I don't know, but it has been massively exaggerated."
