Sir Bobby Still Backs Legend For Newcastle Job!

No disrespect to the Toon legend, but if he is happy being a TV star, so be it. It's his life and the very best of luck to him.
But Sir Bobby Robson is convinced Shearer is destined for management at St James' Park, even though owner Mike Ashley has made it clear he will not be considered until he has gained experience elsewhere.
Robson: "Alan will have his own personal reasons for that (rejecting Blackburn).
"But I think there will be a time when he has done a few things that he has wanted to do after playing when he might be a bit more ready for the big jobs, the big tasks.
"We'll have to wait and see. He is his own man who makes his own decisions and we will see what happens.
"I think he is destined for Newcastle one day. I don't think there is any more pressure at a big club because the risk is the same at a big club as it is at a small club.
"If you are going to succeed at a little club, you are going to succeed at a big club, so what's the difference."
