Moussa Sissoko's none event season last term was a major part of Newcastle United's relegation.
But this season Newcastle are getting on fine without him and find themselves on the top of the Championship.
Sissoko has been speaking to French website Foot Mercato, and was asked if he still follows the Championship club, keeping an eye on Newcastle United’s progress.
Moussa Sissoko: “Yes, I follow them a little. I have lots of friends there. We stay in touch. I see what they do, that’s fine. They are very well. I hope it will continue like this all season and they will have the chance to come back to the Premier League.”
