Well knock me down with a shit-stick.
Boro were triumphant in their shortlist category, seeing off competition from Birmingham City, Bristol City, Oxford United, Plymouth Argyle and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Mark Ellis, Middlesbrough’s Chief Operating Officer, received the award on behalf of the club and was quick to praise their achievements for a successful club asset that was introduced for the first time this season.
Ellis: “The Generation Red Family Zone (GRFZ) is a real team effort from everyone at Middlesbrough. The Family Zone has proved very popular with our supporters and we are proud that it has increased attendances during a tough economic climate.
“I’d also like to thank our Season Card holders and matchday visitors for their support in helping to make the GRFZ such a success.”
It's nice to see things are back on track at "family friendly" Middlesbrough.
