Forster upset the Toon boss by saying he wants to stay at Parkhead because he wants to "win things".
And in a two-horse league, no doubt the chance is there. Craig Bellamy did it, so why not Fraser?
Celtic and Rangers went 1st and 2nd on the first week of the season, and it will probably be 2076 before someone parts them, in what has become the WORST league in world football!
Celtic and Rangers what to leave - the entire Scottish league wish the pair of them would piss off and take their bigotry with them - but who would take them?
We don't want them south of the border, so why don't they form a two-team league and play themselves every week, and let the rest of the country concentrate on football?
Toon reserve goalkeeper Ole Soderberg says he is ready for the call if Newcastle United suffer another goalkeeping blow this season.
The Swede’s rise through the United ranks has been rapid and he would be happy if Forster stayed up there in Chilly Jocko Land.
Ole Soderberg: “Chris gives me a lot of confidence when he puts me in the squad and now I am just working really hard to get my chance.
“Being on the bench for this club is a real honour.
“Every game is a new experience – we are travelling all over England.
“It is a good experience to be with the first-team, and I like it very much.
“Anything can happen. I am just keeping my hopes up.
“Tim has more experience than me. He has been playing, and I have not made my debut yet.
“You learn from everybody. I like him very much, but I am just hoping for my chance.
“My thoughts go to Harps – you don’t want to see anyone injured – but it’s how the business is.
“Last season was a nightmare, so, touch wood, I’m hoping for the best this year.
“I was unlucky last year with injuries, so I’m just going to work really hard to get my chance.
“I got an injury to my left knee at the start of the season, and was out two months.
“Then I was fit for a week, and got injured again.
“I landed on my left shoulder when I dived.
“Then it was another month, and I got injured on my right knee.
“So I’m just hoping for better luck now.”
