Souness Awaits The Walking Wounded

Souness: "You've always got your fingers crossed in international week and we are looking at a fresh start now that we have brought in the players we want. The Champions League is certainly still a target. If we can keep everyone fit, we can have a very, very productive season.

"We feel we have a group of players that should make us a match for anyone. Our season will be decided on how unkind injuries are to us. With this group of players I feel we can win anywhere.

"On the first day of the season - with everybody on the pitch - we were a match for Arsenal, one of the best teams around. It was the same against Manchester United for the first 45 minutes."
