Souness Knows The Feeling

"I have to say there's a great deal of criticism flying about," Souness told Sky Sports News.

"We are British, and we are now in danger of acting the way the Latins, in all due respect, the way the Latins have reacted in the last 20 years about their football, you know we really have to get real.

"Sven might not be everyone's cup of tea, for every manager that's the situation we find ourselves in, but I think his track record speaks for itself. Lost to Portugal in the Euro Championship, lost to Brazil in the World Cup, and had a really bad night in Belfast three nights ago, that can happen to anyone.

"Being Scottish I'm the wrong man to ask but I just think we are acting a wee bit, a little bit crazy, but that's maybe the nature of the business we are in today."
