Spurs Could Have Klinsmann As Manager When They Arrive!

Klinsmann has sought assurances over Spurs' future owners as he considers replacing Martin Jol as manager.

Germany's 2006 World Cup coach has been approached by Tottenham officials and is keen to begin his career in club management at White Hart Lane.

Klinsmann, however, is concerned about the Spurs majority shareholder's plans to sell the club and last week attempted to contact Enic's principal investor, Joe Lewis, to ascertain his exact intentions.

Klinsmann is probably best remembered at St James' Park for his part in the fabulous 3-3 draw back in 1995.

He could have won the game for Spurs but Mike Hooper came on to replace Pavel Srnicek in goal (after he was sent off) and the ex-Liverpool keeper produce a stunning penalty save from Klinsmann's spot kick.
