The game was originally scheduled for Saturday March 13 but, as we play Mallorca on the Thursday before, the Premier League has agreed to the game being moved to Sunday March 14, with a 3pm kick-off.
United requested the change to be confirmed much earlier, but the Premier League wanted to wait until the second leg of the Valerenga game was out of the way before making the decision.
And who didn’t think at some point on Wednesday that their caution in not moving the game was going to be proved right?
United have previously announced that travelling supporters who have bought match tickets but are unable to make the re-arranged game will be able to claim a refund.
