Coach David Platt is likely to select Shola Ameobi, Jermaine Jenas and Titus Bramble for the vital European Championship qualifier, so it’ll be well worth turning up to watch.
Platt told the FA’s official website: "St. James' Park is a magnificent stadium and the perfect venue for a match of this importance.
"Newcastle is rightly recognised as one of the heartlands of football in England and the passion and loyalty of the fans is second to none.
"With Newcastle players such as Jermaine Jenas, Titus Bramble and Shola Ameobi playing key parts in our matches this season I hope that we would get a big crowd to roar us on.
"Turkey will be a tough test and the fans can give us a massive boost."
Platt’s comments probably come straight out of the FA’s PR handbook, but I’m sure Sunderland’s 14,550 fans will be pleased to hear that our "passion and loyalty" is second to none.
