"We made too many mistakes, and when you do that against a team like Manchester United they punish you. That's what they did to us," said Sir Bobby.
"We made mistakes, they punished us. They didn't give us many chances because they didn't make many mistakes.
"I was pleased to get back to 1-1, but we gave ourselves a mountain to climb by letting in two silly goals. Then we did exactly the same after half time.
"There's no dispute that they deserved to win the game, and even though we have scored three goals away from home we cannot take anything away from them after that."
