The Sky Sports presenter is a well known Hartlepool United fan and went on a great rant regarding their FA Cup defeat to Blyth Spartans on Friday night.
Stelling was upset that BBC pundit Alan Shearer was in the Blyth Spartans dressing room before the game and made his feelings known.
Much to the amusement of the fellow Sky Sports Soccer Saturday team.
Stelling launched a scathing attack on the BBC over its coverage of the FA Cup clash against the Spartans.
GOALden Boy ... Closet Spartans fan?
The Sky Sports host criticised the broadcaster for filming pundit Alan Shearer inside the Conference North side's dressing room before the game, spurring the players on.
"There will be heroes on that pitch, make sure it's one of you," said Shearer to the Spartans players ahead of the match, a statement that Hartlepool fan Stelling has dubbed "unacceptable".
He said: "It's unacceptable to have Alan Shearer in the Blyth Spartans dressing room before the game saying 'there will be heroes, make sure it's one of you in green and white'. Unacceptable.
"There are licence payers in Hartlepool too. BBC, hang your head in shame."
However, Stelling went on to say that he does not hold Shearer responsible for the segment as the former Newcastle United striker was likely "doing what he's told by a producer".
The shock defeat to Spartans later cost Hartlepool manager Paul Murray his job.
Stelling says he has sympathy for Paul Murray but has described his sacking as a “brave and bold and decisive decision” by the club.
Stelling told viewers: “We have sacked our manager today seven games in.
“We are in desperate straights and I feel sorry for Paul Murray.
“But it is a brave and bold and decisive decision.”
