The Mag reports: "There is nothing on the club website and indeed the dedicated Fans Forum page on the Newcastle United site still says the meeting is tonight (Monday 16th December), but the club Tweet simply states the next meeting is 6th January 2014.
"No explanation has been given for the postponement at this late stage.
"Earlier today we revealed that Newcastle United Directors had cancelled a meeting that they’d organised with Newcastle United Supporters Trust (NUST) to talk about the club’s decision to ban the Trust from the Fans Forum.
"An NUST statement also made clear that Newcastle United had ignored all communications from the Trust, including a request for written confirmation of why NUST had been banned from the Fans Forum."
The problem with Supporters Clubs and Forums and the like ... and I have been involved with them for 30 years ... is that (at the end of the day) they are seen as a hindrance.
The club likes to make it KNOWN they are willing to listen to the supporters, when in fact, they couldn't give a rat's arse!
And that doesn't just go for Mike Ashley, that goes for all those prior to him - from Westwood the Pirate to the current regime.
When things go bad and the supporters shout for the manager's head, all communuication ends.
Is Ashley on a campaign to become popular with the supporters?
Is he hell!
He couldn't give a shit who he upsets, and as owner of the club he he has that right I'm afraid.
