Steven Taylor: "I got my break when we had a few injuries, and there was no one else to play.

"I had to get in there. We were down to the bare bones at the time, and I thought the kit man would get in before me!

"But I played at Bolton, and then waited almost a year for another chance! I thought 'my career's over here'. Thankfully, it wasn't.

"I remember sitting in the Sir John Hall Stand with my dad, and I never once thought I'd be getting the opportunity to play on the St James's Park pitch.

"Living that dream now is the best feeling in the world now - I thought being a ball boy would be the closest I'd get to the pitch."
