It is no secret that Newcastle United are on the lookout for a goalkeeper in this month's transfer window.
The Magpies were previously linked with a move for Paris Saint-Germain's Kevin Trapp but have now switched their attention to Martin Dubravka of Sparta Prague, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Here are five facts about Dubravka, who could make the switch to St James' Park.
1) Dubravka has produced some impressive performances since joining Sparta Prague last summer - he has kept six clean sheets in eleven league games.
2) Having made his Slovakia debut in 2014, Dubravka has gone on to earn eight caps for his country and featured in the 2-1 World Cup qualifying defeat to England last year.
3) Dubravka twice won the Slovakian league title with Zilina (in 2010 and 2012) and also featured for the club in the Champions League.
4) At 6 feet and 3 inches, he is the same height as Newcastle goalkeeper Rob Elliot and is slightly taller than Karl Darlow.
5) After commencing his career at Zilina, Dubravka subsequently took in spells with Esbjerg and Slovan Liberec prior to joining Sparta Prague.
