... Cheick Tiote tp play for his country when he had not been playing for Newcastle.
Allegedly the Ivory Coast player had a hamstring strain which ruled him out of Toon fixtures, and Newcastle had every right to stop him playing during the international break.
But that did not happen, with some reporters suggesting Tiote has fallen out with the Newcastle manager.
Alan Pardew: "I spoke to him and thought we had an agreement with his FA that he would play part of both games, but of course he's played a full 90 minutes in both. I'm astounded by that.
"I will took him to Southampton because he is important to us, but he didn't start. We'll be having words [with Ivory Coast]."
